The Easiest Way to Get 1000 Followers On Medium
On November 29, 2021, I wrote this post to help new medium writers get their first 100 followers.
At that moment, I had just crossed the 100 followers mark set by medium for the paid partnership program.
I was happy and grateful for my accomplishment.
Then an idea popped into my mind. Why not go for 1000 followers?
The thought of getting 1000 followers scared the shit of out me. But then, I decided to go for it in spite of the fear.
So I set a goal to reach 1K followers on medium by the end of 2022.
What I did was simple, yet so effective that it blew my mind.
For the days I had time, I spent about 15 minutes on medium looking for writers that were struggling to get their first 100 followers. I read their posts, followed them, and left a short comment.
Here is a sample comment I left after reading this heart-touching request for 100 followers by altaira:
I feel your pain Altaira and I’m here to support you or anyone grow as a fellow writer. Let’s take this challenge to 1000 followers. I follow anyone who follows me. It’s that simple. Let’s go people!
